About 12 Days of Giving

This year, 12 Days of Giving returns for its second year! From November 30 through December 11, our Chaminade Family will once again come together in the spirit of generosity and gratitude. Each day we will highlight a unique way your giving helps shape the Chaminade experience, from academics and faith formation to athletics and the arts, and more! Whether you give to the Torch Fund, volunteer your time, or simply share kindness with others, every act of giving helps keep the Chaminade spirit alive.

How can I make my Torch Fund Tuesday gift?

Giving is quick and secure, and you can choose the method that works best for you:

  • Online: Click the “Make A Gift” button on this page and select where you’d like your gift directed.

  • Recurring gift: Set up a monthly or annual gift through the Chaminade 12 Days of Giving page. This is a simple, convenient way to sustain the mission all year long.

  • By mail: Make checks payable to the Chaminade Development Fund and mail to 340 Jackson Avenue, Mineola, NY 11501, Attn: Office of Advancement.

  • By phone: Call the Office of Advancement at (516) 742-5555 ext. 433 and our team will be happy to process your gift.

  • Gifts of appreciated stock, donor-advised fund distributions, and IRA qualified charitable distributions are also welcome. Please call our office and we’ll walk you through that process.

What does my gift support?

Your gift goes to the Torch Fund, Chaminade’s annual giving program. Tuition alone does not cover the true cost of a Chaminade education, and the Torch Fund closes that gap for every single student — not just some. That means your gift helps reduce tuition for all 1,700 young men who walk through our doors.

Beyond tuition assistance, Torch Fund gifts touch every part of student life: our faculty and their salaries, classroom technology and academic programs, athletics and clubs, campus ministry and retreats, and the upkeep of a campus our students call home. When you give, you are investing directly in the formation of young men in the Marianist tradition.

I can only give a small amount. Does it really make a difference?

Absolutely. Every gift, at every level, is a statement that you believe in what happens at 340 Jackson Avenue. A strong participation rate strengthens Chaminade’s standing with our community, foundations, and major donors who look at how our own family supports the school.

A few things that stretch your gift further:

  • Matching gifts: Many employers match charitable contributions dollar for dollar. Check with your HR department: it can double your impact at no additional cost to you.

  • Challenge match: Throughout Torch Fund Tuesday, we will have challenges matches. When you give during those periods, your gift will be eligible for a match to make it go even farther.

  • Tax deductibility: Your gift is fully tax-deductible. You’ll receive an email confirmation that serves as your receipt.
